My LG washer worked fine when I first purchased it in 2013. About a year ago I started having trouble . LG sent out a repair man. He said the washer look okay and he would order us a new door since the it was broke. He never took the washer apart . The new door we had to put on. It does not seal, it will not close tight. It does not look like the old door, the order form said it is a replace for it. So the old door with the broken catch that keeps it closed when not in use had to be put back on. The washer now jerks when the water fills , it will not spin in rinse cycle. I have to shut off and set to rinse & spin. The df keeps coming up and won't wash. I have to turn off and on to get it to start. The repair man was supposed to take the washer apart and clean and check everything. He said the washer was clean and no need to do anything. He said LG said they wanted him to check everything but from looking at the washer he does not need too. He said it was to much trouble for a clean washer and the parts LG said to replace he can tell by looking they don't need replaced. Since the washer looks clean. ( I called because I did not want mold build up that people were complaining about) He suggested I don't clean it once a month , that a few times a year would be fine. Most washers don't look this clean. Maybe if he would have checked the washer like we asked this would not be a problem. The repair man told me not to use gain detergent that is why soap runs out the back. And continue to keep the filter clean.
